What beaches in South Carolina have beautiful clear blue water?

I want to go on vacation in South Carolina this year. I went when I was younger and remember a white sand beach and clear light blue water, but the pictures of Myrtle Beach don’t show that. Does anyone have any places that are great for vacation and have a more tropical feel [a boardwalk would be great!]?

Unfortnately, non of them because of all the swamps and river runoffs that go into the ocean! If you want clear blue water in the south, you’re gonna have to go to th Florida Keys!

None of the really due to the heavy sediment runoff from the coastal swamps and river drainages. In myrtle beach however. The ocean water does take on a nice torqoise-cyan-blue color when its really warm and when the wind is relatively on the low side.
