But remember there are very strict codes if you want to change or renovate anything. Downtown floods in many places during a h rd rain. If you don't mind heat and humidity!!!! then ok. To be un "PC" , I have Northern friends who are surprised at the number of African-Americans here (about 50%) in the metro area. Just a statement, covering demographics since many have the impression we're all white lacking diversity. Generally we are more polite but don't expect that from everyone and get burned.
