Should I explore my own country more or go back to Europe?

I’ve seen more historical landmarks in other countries than I have my own…kind of sad, isn’t it?

I live in the U.S. and have been several towns in each Germany, Italy, Switzerland and France. As far as my traveling in the U.S. goes, I’ve never been out of the south. I’ve been to Hilton Head South Carolina, Biloxi Mississippi, Atlanta Georgia, Knoxville and Nashville (only once and not for long) TN and all over Kentucky (Kentucky is where I live).

In March I have the chance to go back to Europe. I will have a lot of money saved up by then and it’s very tempting to go. However, I’m also tempted to spend the money on a road trip and explore my own country more. What do you think? Which would you do?

If it helps to know my age at all, I’m only 18. I have plenty of time to go back to Europe if I want and plenty of time to explore the U.S. if I want…I just am not sure which I want to do first. Thanks!

where do i find info on interstates i will be traveling on, speed limits, road conditions and tolls.?

At 18,you have plenty of time to explore the rest of the world. You must take into consideration the exchange rate because the dollar is really weak against the Euro.See America first! If you decide to come to Europe,be sure to Visit Valencia Spain,I live here, and find new places to see all the time. You always hear about Madrid (which sucks) and Barcelona (a great city ) and just a short train ride from Valencia. All in all,I would just travel around the U.S. I go back to the States once a year for my vacation, and spend two months traveling around.
