In South Carolina we really love Hilton Head. Sometimes you can find good deals depending on when you go. It can be pricey. They have nice calm ocean waters because there is a sandbar. There are plenty of walking and biking trails. It is beautiful there. Plenty of restaurants, and shopping if you need that too.
I would recommend getting a condo if you stay for a full week.
