I have your #1 answer.. legally, 18 with a credit card. But, if you look close enough, with a cover story about your license.. 16 looking like 18 at a motel thats NOT a major franchise(Days Inn, Ramada, etc.) with cash to back it up, you can get a room. It may take 5 or 6 stops to find the one that will let you. Almost guaranteed-don’t even try beachfront. If they say no, ask them if they know someone. Look them in the eye, and tell them you just need sleep that you’re exhausted from driving forever to get there..A good story, and a smiling, tired face will get you in somewhere. Best of luck, and enjoy your trip!! ;-) P.S.!! You can find a place close to where you live to buy a prepaid credit card. Ask where, find it, buy it, use it. Good luck! :p
