Does U.S. Cellular work in South Carolina? (Myrtle Beach)?

I am taking a vacation to Myrtle Beach tomorrow. I would like to know if I will be charged roaming. I see that parts of that area are covered, but I’m not sure if Myrtle is. Does anyone know for certain if I will charged roaming? I have the standard wide area plan. Thank you icon smile Does U.S. Cellular work in South Carolina? (Myrtle Beach)?

your best bet is to call your cell company and ask them. if you are not covered in that area they might be able to get you some credit towards roaming fees. also there should be a little triangle on the display of your phone. if it is flashing when you are roaming that means you are in a roaming area that your company provides for and you might be charged for raoming fees. if it is solid then you are out of the network and will be charged roaming fees. good luck.
