I’m looking to travel in December to Florence, South Carolina. I would like to know the cost to travel from;
-Washington DC to Florence, South Carolina (round trip)
-New York City to Florence, South Carolina (round trip)

Which is more economical bus, train or plane and whats the cost?

Please help. Thank You!

Can you help me find a cabin in south carolina that has hot tub inside and a walking trail?

    The typical one-way fare by Amtrak is $68. For round-trip, figure $136. The trip takes about eight hours and is comfortable, with spacious seating, a dining car and a lounge car.

    For more information, here’s a link to the Amtrak website:

    Amtrak usually gets filled up around the Christmas holidays, so if you decide to take the train, reserve your seat early (also, the ticket price is generally cheaper when you book early).

    Florence is served by a regional airport that doesn’t have flights directly to Washington. Figure you’d first have to fly into a place like Atlanta and then get on a small jet to Florence. At any rate, the price would be pretty high.

    As for bus, again you’d have to change buses along the way, as I don’t think there are any direct buses between Washington and Florence. If you go Greyhound, you’d go from DC to Richmond, then to Fayetteville where you’d change buses, and then to Florence. The ticket cost is about $60-80 one way.
